TYPES OF VOLLEYBALL CAMPS
DAY CAMPS run for three to five days with two sessions per day consisting of one of the training programs described below. Campers are required to bring lunch each day. Most camps are held from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
ADULT CAMPS are weekend programs that have one session on Friday evening, three sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday morning.
TYPES OF VOLLEYBALL PROGRAMS
INDIVIDUAL SKILLS - for players who are looking for a strong foundation in their skill development, this program is designed specifically to stress proper fundamentals and techniques. Through this period of concentrated skill training, participants will see major improvements in their overall individual performances. Athletes will be grouped according to skill level.
TEAM - geared toward preparing a team for the upcoming season. It will stress all team functions and afford ample six on six scrimmages. A court coach will be assigned to actually train and prepare your team, allowing the high school coach to sit back and observe. Areas you can expect to cover are service reception, team offense, team defense, transition and much more.
TRADITIONAL - a combination of both our individual and team camp programs condensed into a four day format. In the mornings, we will focus on a strong foundation in skill development stressing proper fundamentals and techniques. In the afternoons, we will concentrate on preparing players for the upcoming season by training all team functions and playing six on six scrimmages. Areas we will cover are service reception, team offense, team defense, transition and much more.
POSITIONAL-This camp is designed for high school or club players interested in specialized skill training for setters, hitters and liberos. Sessions will stress the development of refined fundamental skills and position specific techniques through game like drills and competitions.
ADULT - usually weekend programs for players who are looking to improve their individual skills and take their game to the next level. This is an opportunity for adults to get coaching that's designed specifically to stress proper fundamentals and techniques through drill work and small sided games. Through this period of concentrated skill training, participants will see major improvements in their overall individual performances. Athletes will group themselves and train at their own ability level.
